- Arizona's 20 highest peaks and 20 deepest canyons are highlighted here in a very original presentation. Included with the links to each peak and canyon is a 3-D view, a map to the trailhead, a topographic map of the trail, information about the hike, and a picture. Take The Challenge.
- Arizona Hiking Trails

- The advantage of this site is its simplicity to navigate the plentiful list of hikes found here by both region and name. Each write-up includes directions, trail description, length and difficulty. Though the descriptions are very good, the highlight of this site is the link provided with each trail description entitled "Naked In The Woods" which gives a first-hand, and sometimes naked, description of the hike taken by John and Heather. - The GuzGuide
- A very enjoyable site to browse through. This site is geared more toward multi-day hikes/backpacking, with the Trail Reviews as the highlight. Most contain an excellent write-up with a plethora of pictures. The site also includes some Gear Reviews, Tips and Tricks and a Forum to post discussions.

- Links for hiking around Flagstaff, Phoenix-Mesa and Tucson provide information for about 35 trails. The link to Phoenix-Mesa hikes actually has four hikes that are in the Tucson-Oracle area. The trail descriptions are to the point and each provides essential data such as distance, elevation gain and hike time.

- An excellent effort. This is the kind of site I like - light on the flash, but heavy on substance and very well organized. If you plan to hike around Tucson, bookmark this site and watch it grow. This site was previously named "Tucson Hikes - An Illustrated Guide."
- Todd's Desert Hiking Guide

- Extremely well organized and visually pleasing site. A very good listing of hikes with very good information is available. Additional highlights include the excellent tips for warnings about hiking in the desert, as well as hiking gear that may be needed and the all-important hiking etiquette page. There is quite a bit more available on this site, so take the time to look around.
- Trails.com
- The link above to Trails.com yielded 241 Arizona trails when I visited. Each link provides one-stop shopping of very basic data on each trail. Nice features include; linking directly to topopgraphic maps of each trail, linking directly for trails within 10 to 100 miles, and an easy-to-use search engine. It is possible to add a your own review of the trail. Directions to the trailheads are not provided - at least on the ones I viewed. Each trail is linked to a guidebook you can buy which provide more information.

- Creative use of maps to show trails. No written description of trails, but maps make up for it.
