This was one of my first attempts at burnishing and was created during
my second semester in ceramics back in high school. The simplicity of the
etched design is what I get the most complements on, which was created
with a standard electrical two pronged plug. During my senior year my
art instructor suggested that I enter the piece in an art show at NAU and
as a result, won a full tuition waver. In the end I declined and decided
to pursue engineering at ASU.
