This section contains tidbits about the actual production of Hey Dude. Behind the Scenes. The Story behing the Story. The Real World. True West.
So where does this info come from? Some of it is collated from other parts of this web site. The best stuff comes from Doug Snauffer, who had the opportunity to interview some of the behind-the-scenes personnel for a magazine article he was researching. The interviews took place in 1992 after the series ended production. Unfortunately, the magazine, Epilog Journal, switched gears and the Hey Dude article was never published. The original research material, property of the magazine, is now in deep storage or lost, i.e., inaccessible. And I don't know if Mr. Snauffer will appreciate this or not, but here's his link in the Internet Movie Database.
