Wednesday, December 8 - OK, somebody spammed the old guestbook, so I nuked it. This is actually a blessing in disguise, as I was pretty unhappy with the old guestbook, and six months ago I wanted to change over. The only reason I didn't was because I didn't want to lose the base of guestbook messages already left. Well, this gave me a good reason!

So I've set up the new guestbook. It's based out of a server in Greece, of all places. But it's one I had my eyes on for a while. I'll continue to tune it as I get more familiar with it. It's got a lot of fun features, as well as good behind-the-scenes security.

If you left a msg on the old guestbook, feel free to leave a new one. I don't care. I don't even care if you say things like "This website sucks!" At least that tells me something. It's the silly stuff of no value, or messages containing profanity, that get deleted.

Tuesday, December 7 - Added Noami Langworthy's worthy episode detail for #44. This is the episode in which water-phobic Brad must get lifeguard certified, or get fired. There are lots of good pictures of Brad (Kelly Brown) in her swimsuit. Added a little bit to the front page news regarding the Stiller/Taylor engagement. Also updated the existing episode detail formatting for the "Superstar" and "New Kid on the Block."
Saturday, December 4 - Added and episode detail for "Perfect Father." Also, for you Jonathan Galkin fans, I've added some detailed info on his post-Hey Dude work (see below on this same page), courtesy of Naomi Langworthy. You'll see more of Naomi's work as her episode detail of the "Brad Gets Wet" episode is coming soon!
Wednesday, December 1 - Added "Guests of the Bar None Ranch" to the Stills section of the Multimedia Corrals. It's not complete, but this is a good start. It seems to work without a hitch in Internet Explorer, but in older versions of Netscape, the images aren't popping up like they should. Something about Xoom's setup is preventing the Javascript from executing properly. If you click on a character link, and nothing happens, right-click on the link and select "Open this link." For now, that should get you going.

On the message board: You can read an update I've posted on this web site's status.

Friday, November 12 - Added another one of Wanda McKelvy's outstanding episode details, this time for "Baby." Check her rather detailed and involving horse droppings. There's a trivia question, and a list that maybe you can add to.
Thursday, November 11 - Added Wanda McKelvy's ubersynopsis of episode #53 (title unknown). This is the Miss Bar None beauty pageant episode, where Melody starts acting like a "crazy person" in her quest for the tiara. The poll has been changed to go along with this episode. The results of the previous poll can be found on the Poll Archives page. Also the News/Rumors page (the page you're on right now) has been updated with relevant Hey Dude happenings that have occured recently.
Friday, November 5 - Added another one of Wanda McKelvy's outstanding episode details, this time for episode #54 (title unknown, argh). This is the double date episode, another top ten episode. I've already received Wanda's treatment of the beauty contest episode, so that'll come next. I'll get it up ASAP, as these wonderful contributions have lit a little fire under me. This, despite the fact that I've been incredibly busy at home and at work lately. I mean, I'm guilty of having used the "too busy" excuse when I was really just too lazy or disinterested (what the hey, you can't see how "busy" I am when I'm slouched in the couch watching the Miss Fitness America contest on ESPN2). As I often work in spurts, you can expect a steady stream of updates for a while. Thanks for hanging in there during my last lull.
Sunday, October 31 - Added Wanda McKelvy's super detailed synopsis for episode #52, for which unfortunately we don't know the title. It's the murder mystery episode, definitely a fan favorite. It's loaded up with graphics and such, getting the full treatment. I hope you all enjoy it, as her synopsis for the double date episode is next in line.
Saturday, October 30 - Wow, an update. Added an Episode Detail for "Rainman". This had been almost done since early September. Hang on, I've got a couple of more submitted, very well-written episode details in the pipeline. BTW, the reason for the long update delay is that I've been doing a lot of landscape work around the house, and I've been too worn out to do much with this web site.
Saturday, August 28 - Due to popular demand, I've recorded the complete opening theme song and posted as an .mp3 format file. I've also included a little bit of music that's played in those transition scences. You can find both in the sound clip section of the Multimedia Corral. You'll need an mp3 player to listen to them. If you don't have one, you can easily get a good one at winamp.com. You may have also just noticed that I've just decided to call the Multimedia Gallery the Multimedia Corral. Someday, I may change the graphics to reflect that.
Saturday, August 21 - Added an episode detail for "Mr. Moneybags". This is the episode where Ted makes his surprise return to the series after his summer school hiatus. I've also re-uploaded the dismount.avi video. It's been recompressed into a more compatible format (I rec'd a couple of just video/no sound e-mails).
Monday, August 16 - In a groundbreaking new development, I've added a video clip to the Multimedia Gallery. You'll note also that I've divided the MM Gallery into three sections: Sounds, Stills, and Videos. Obviously, the clip is in the Videos section. The footage is Brad (Kelly Brown) dismounting from her horse. I guess I should say that it's really geared towards a male audience. Sorry, gals. Let me know what I can do for you and maybe it can be captured and posted as well.

I haven't tested the download myself. It's about 3MB, so it's not small. Please let me know if there are any problems downloading it for viewing.

Also, in the past few days, I've added a video capture gallery for Episode 51, "Mr. Moneybags". This was to be in conjunction with a new detailed synopis of this episode that I guess will be added later. I've also added a couple of off-site links to the Hey Dude Petition Page, in which you can help get Hey Dude back on the air, and another fan-based message board: The Bar None Ranchers. Check 'em both out!

Monday, August 2 - Well, I seem to working in reverse order from the poll results. The last thing you wanted was a new message board. However, since it's the easiest thing to implement, you now have one. The old message board has been running without an administrator ever since Kyle Taylor lost his internet access, and it's really gone downhill. Spam, embedded music, that Hulk Hogan stuff (it's the awful Hulk Hogans of world that are holding back the much more talented Eddy Guerreros). It's such a mess.

Kyle was also the motivating spirit behind the old board, constantly offering up new topics or posting other creative diversions. I'm hoping one of you can take charge in the same manner. Maybe in the fall when the college-aged fans are back in school?

Sunday, July 25 - Sorry for the interruption in updates. I had a personal emergency I had to attend to that took me out of circulation for a while. But one thing I've done is move the entire Multimedia Gallery to xoom.com. The reason? Xoom offers free unlimited storage space, as opposed to Geocities' rather measley 11MB. The new gallery can be found at http://members.xoom.com/mrernst. Just to kick things off, I've added a new image gallery, captures from Episode 28. where Melody pretends to Brad in order to impress a snooty guest. The image quality is poor because of the source video condition, but I wanted to see what I could get away with. I've also formatted it in a way that kind of tells the story.
Saturday, July 10 - Added two new sound clips (.wav files) to the Multimedia Gallery. Also added a new Tanque Verde newspaper advertisement to the main page. It shouldn't be an issue, but this Webwrangler gets no kickback for posting this ad.
Thursday, July 8 - The poll has been updated. It really boils down to why you watch Nickelodeon. Is Hey Dude the only reason to watch Nick? A main reason? Or just one show among many you like? The poll results have been updated, showing the final tally of the "what parts of this web site need work" poll. Getting cast and character bios will be a priority, as well as more multimedia. Thanks to all who voted.
Wednesday, July 7 - I got my hands on an old article from American Cinematographer that's all about our favorite show. You can view the article in its entirety. It's very technical, however. If you prefer "just the facts, ma'am", then link over to the non-technical summary. I received this article via the nice folks at the Tucson Film Office. Unfortunately, this is the extent of the information they have.

Sorry for the sorry update frequency. I guess I took the month of June off. I'm not promising anything, but you can expect some frequent updates in the short term...

On July 14th, Hey Dude will be ten years old. The world won't change on this date, but it's still worth noting. Naturally, it would be nicer if we were in the same situation as Law & Order, which is celebrating its tenth year of production. Maybe it's for the best, though. I admire Law & Order, which I watched from the first year, but that is a story-driven program, and very little emphasis is based on the characters. Some shows have hung on too long and simply ran out of ideas. You gotta be honest, the third season of Star Trek is so bad, it's often unintentionally funny. M*A*S*H got nauseating as it dragged on year after year. It's series finale was a mercy killing. Sorry, I'm babbling...

Friday, May 21 - The Favorite Episode Tournament is over! Finally! And though it was as close as it could get, a winner did emerge. See the final results on the Tournament page. Also, a new poll to help me decide what work gets done on this web site. I also added some navigation links back from the Gallery.
Thursday, May 20 - Added a couple of sounds (.wav files) to the Gallery. There's a little note right on the page that explains exactly how it'll work. But basically, I'll add/rotate two new sounds bits a week. I'm having trouble tonight accessing any Geocities page, so I don't know how it tests out. Please let me know if there are any problems.

I keep getting a number of requests to post the theme song. I'll probably go ahead and do that by posting the entire theme for a limited time only. It will probably be busted up into verses and posted in the low sample rate form. Keep checking back, or sign up on the Listbot form on the bottom of the Main Lodge (home page) to get notified.

Tuesday, May 18 - In my continuing efforts to make this site not only the only Hey Dude site on the web, but the best Hey Dude site as well, I've expanded the Gallery. Here's what I'm doing: I opened up a Geocities site to take advantage of the added storage capacity. So, technically, the Gallery is a whole separate site unto itself, and I'm just linking to it. I hope this way of thinking will get me around Geocities' rather strict Terms of Service. But what does this mean to you? You will see an annoying ad window pop up every time you go to the Gallery. Just click it to the background and ignore it. It only comes up once per load.

For now, I've added twenty pics each for "Take Me to Your Leader" and "No More Mr. Nice Guy." I have 11MB to work with, and I've already eaten up about 30% of it. Which means that things will eventually go into rotation if I want to make everything available. One thing I want (and can) add is more sound files.

I'm still working on navigation buttons, but for now, just use your browser's back button.

I've also given the new treatment to episode detail [20] "Teacher's Pest". Probably the easiest way to link to it is to go to the Episode Guide and click on that ep's horseshoe. While you're at it, check out the enhanced detail for [35] "No More Mr. Nice Guy". Notice that I've off-loaded the graphics to my AOL account to allow for all the extra images. You bet that this site is getting tough to manage (three different ftp accounts).

Monday, May 17 - Added a new episode detail, [35] "No More Mr. Nice Guy." This is a spiffed up version, rather graphics intensive despite the same general "look and feel" of the other details. It might take a long time to download, and it probably consumes a large portion of my free server space. You've been warned: please be patient while the page loads! I figure that once the images are cached on your machine, it won't be so bogged down when future details are updated to this format. I'll probably go back and give the existing details the same treatment before writing up any new ones. Because of the work involved, I'll post revamped details to the news section. Any Hey Dude episode is worth a second look, especially since we can't watch it on cable anymore. The favorite episode poll will end Friday and I'll post a new poll for the weekend (For once, I already have the question in mind).
Wednesday, May 5 - At last, after months of polling, we've finally reached the finals of the Hey Dude favorite episode tournament. So make your vote and live with it, because this is probably the last time this web site is ever going to run a poll series of this magnitude!

Also, if you've been to the site recently, you'll notice that I put a little .wav sample of the Hey Dude theme when the main page loads. Some of you have asked for the whole thing. I could certainly make it, but its file size would preclude me from ever posting it. Sorry.

Also, I'm considering creating a Hey Dude Message Board that would be integral to this web site, supplanting the old one. The reason? Mainly because I'm tired of seeing "Legally Get Rich Quick" schemes and off-topic comic strips every time I go to the existing board. Plus that bright yellow is hard on my eyes. If anyone has anything to say or suggest on that matter, please let me know.

Saturday, Apr 25 - Updated the favorite episode poll to Bracket 5, which I'm just calling the best of the rest. I just went through and picked some good episodes. As always, the poll is located right on the front page.
Saturday, Apr 24 - Argh, I keep getting sick! Blame this delay on another cold. But anyway, I added a couple of things. First, a recap of the 1992 Memorial Day Hey Dude-a-thon. It will permanently reside in Buddy's Comic Book Collection, but you can go to it now. This would not have been possible were it not for Dan Flynn's foresight in recording the whole thing way back when. Included are screen caps. I wish the quality could be better, but it's coming off of second generation dupes recorded at EP speed.

Secondly, I've added a couple more of my own blooper-type items to the Manure Pile, as well as some pertinent screen caps. Of potential interest to many is my own take on the alleged "bitchy whore" utterance.

Maybe tomorrow I'll get around to updating the poll.

Sunday, Apr 18 - I got my little hands on an ATI All-In-Wonder video card. This lets me make screen captures from VHS source. Woo hoo! I've been "busy" all weekend throwing one tape after another in to my tape player and making captures. I probably wore out the jog wheel.

This will be a real boon to the overall appearance of this web site. I can now graphically spiff up things, add pics to the reference, greatly enlarge the gallery, etc. Dan Flynn sent me copies of the Hey Dude Memorial Day Marathon that ran back in 1992 (?). That'll be the first project, showing caps of that along with transcriptions. I can also start working in earnest on the cast and character sections, now that I have the opening horseshoe pictures for each character. I also need to buy a little audio patch cord. Then maybe I can capture sound as well (not so sure about doing that).

I've already got more than enough material to add substantially to the episode gallery. There are some episodes where I've made over 100 caps! Obviously, I'll have to pare them down to 25 or so per episode, perhaps in a way that tells the story in pictures. I processed many Kelly Brown pics, including those of the "cheesecake" variety. Well, as leggy as it ever gets on a Nick program. I'll eventually post those as well. What can I say? I really dig her!

On the main lodge (home page), I also posted a little true story my wife told me. Don't worry, it's related to Hey Dude. You'll see how if you read the story.

Thursday, Apr 8 - I've been lazy as of late...sorry. But I did manage to update the tournament. Now voting on Bracket Four: Guest episodes. The winner of Bracket Three (farce episodes) was "Battle of the Sexes". It'll go against the other bracket winners in the final round.
Tuesday, Mar 23 - If you need copies of Hey Dude episodes, we've got your sources. A pair of fans, Karen Andrews and Dan Flynn , have independently offered to make copies. Dan Flynn has every episode. I've received tapes from both these folks and can tell you that I've been very satisfied. Please contact them directly for more details. I've also added Episode Details for "Crash Landing" and the baseball episode. These two aren't real favorites of mine, but their shake-and-bake stories make for easy synopsis writing. In both cases, the horse droppings outweigh the synopses.

Oh, and the poll...the winner of Bracket Two (Heavy Episodes) is Title Unknown. That would be episode 37, Melody's alcoholic brother. If you want to see the final results, go to the Polls page. The new poll for Bracket Three should be more fun, as it lets you vote for your favorite farce. These episodes are downright silly, but I think Hey Dude was at its best when they got imaginitively crazy! This is a strong field.

BTW, I've got all the episode titles at my fingertips. Unfortunately, my fingertips are on my wallet. This info requires an expenditure of "resources" that I'm reluctant to provide. To put it another way, when I told my wife how much, she did not say (as she usually does), "If you want it, go ahead and pay for it." I'm working for alternative sources, so we'll see...

Thursday, Mar 19 - Notice: Voting on Bracket Two will end Tuesday, March 23rd. Added Episode Detail for Episode 17 "Bunkmate Battle". I've broken down episodes by writers and directors, but I haven't posted it yet - mainly because I don't have half of the episode titles. When/if I finally get all the titles, I don't want to have to update a dozen different lists, hence the delay. You may have noticed that only two directors were ever used for Hey Dude. Fourteen writers worked on Hey Dude, with six writers responsible for 49 of the 65 episodes (75%).
Tuesday, Mar 9 - Changed the Favorite Episode poll to Bracket Two. The poll is located on the Main page. Again, this will stay up for one or two weeks. This time, vote for your favorite "heavy" or serious episode. The old poll has been moved to the Polls page, and the Tournament page has been updated. Archived Dec/Jan news bits to the News Archives.
Saturday, Mar 6-Added a section called The Manure Pile. It is a collection of bloopers submitted by Dan Flynn. Also added Episode Details for [23] "Superstar" and corresponding reference updates. added a note that voting for the first bracket of the Favorite Episode Tournament will end sometime on Tuesday, March 9.
Monday, Feb 22- I finally got around to posting the new poll. It's a favorite episode poll with a twist. The poll is being conducted in a multi-round tournament fashion. Five epsidoes in five categorized brackets. The winner of each bracket goes into a final poll for the "Best Episode" honors (at least, as voted by us). Also, posted a couple of weeks ago but never mentioned in the news, is the message I received from Eugene Frederick. He explains that the buildings seen in Hey Dude were all torn down after production ended. That news has been added to my trip report.
Wednesday, Feb 3- Two more Episode Details by yours truly have been added to the site. [13] "Pain in the Neck" and [14] "Loose Lips". Not only was "Loose Lips" a much more enjoyable view and write up, but it also had many good scenes of the ranch campus. I'm more convinved than ever that the Tanque Verde Guest Ranch was not the shooting location.

Now that Hey Dude is off the air for sure, how are you going to get your fill of episodes? How about contacting Karen Andrews. She has offered to make tapes for people. I'd highly recommend covering the costs (blank tapes and shipping), but you still can't beat this deal! Her inventory of episodes is listed on the front page. I'm going to help fill in the blanks, but since I have to send her my original tapes to do so, it'll be a piecemeal process. Slowly but surely, though.

Thursday, Jan 28- Two more photos have been added to the Gallery. I've been negligently sitting on these for quite a while. Thanks to Steve Groebner and Kyle Taylor for the pics!
Tuesday, Jan 26- I added a ListBot doo-dad for an announcement list. Basically it works like this: you sign up for it, and whenever I update this web site, I add the change notes to this News page, which then get copied to you via e-mail. It is not a discussion list (listserv), so the only thing you will receive are web updates that I send. I'm just trying it out to see how it works. If only two people sign up, that's cool. After a few weeks, I'll move the sign-up button to the bottom of the page. I'm also slowly adding more navigation bars to the bottom of each page.
Monday, Jan 25 - I made my trip out to the Tanque Verde Guest Ranch, and the findings were very disappointing. You can read all about in my Trip Report. There is still no mention of Hey Dude in the TV listings. I think it's been cancelled. And just before the wrestling Ernst episode was set to air. Argh.
Thursday, Jan 21 - Yeah, it's been a while since the last real update. I am working on something new to make the site a little more interactive, but it's still being slooowly tested. Anyway, it looks like Hey Dude is being Nicked off the air. Maybe it's a mistake or something. Who knows...Anyway, I'm planning to shoot down to Tucson this weekend for a little hiking and such, and I'll stop by the Tanque Verde. I'm curious to see how much I can see (I'll bring a camera) before they kick me off the ranch.
Saturday, Dec 26 - Wow, thanks to the generous help of Michelle Owen, the Episode Guide has been rounded out to include everything except for the elusive titles. I know for a fact that it takes some effort to go through the 25-30 episodes that needed the vital stats filled in, so I give her a big thanks on behalf of all Hey Dude fans...
Thursday, Dec 17 - Put a new Episode Detail up for Episode [25], "Cowboy Ernst". What I'm trying to work on is a way to make an interactive episode rating guide, where you can rate each episode and leave comments. I have to get access to a server that hosts cgi, then make the script, so this may be a ways off (if ever).
Sunday, Dec 13 - Brad wins the favorite character poll! Really, it was a three way tie. If you want to see the results, go to the Poll Archives. As advertised, the new poll has been added. I've added two new Episode Details, [20] "Teacher's Pest" and [21] "Treasure Teens". Wow, what can I say but "Treasure Teens" was a pretty crummy episode. I see that the Guest Book is finally working again. I know it was broken for about a month, but I guess you get what you pay for!

Wednesday, Dec 9 - I've still got this cold thing going, and it's been a serious de-motivator. But still, I got the entire picture gallery going, and I won't have to do that pesky rotation stuff. All pictures will be available all the time. I'm linking to web space available to our household AOL account (it is good for something!), and I have three more screen names to which I can dump up to 2MB apiece. I hope AOL doesn't mind the use of their hard drive space for this purpose. If you want ot bypass the thumbnail entry, you can go directly to the AOL server and do a core dump to your machine. The address is http://members.aol.com/danichi. Again, a big thanks goes out to Jason Williams for these images. I hope he makes more...

I also think it's about time to set up a new poll. I'm letting the current one run through the weekend. On Monday we can have a new one. Any ideas for what it should be?

Wednesday, Dec 2 - I've been down with some sort of viral infection called "O'Kould", so not much motivation to get much done here. Sorry, but snot's dripping all over the keyboard. Still, have added Kyle Talyor's detail for [43], Title Unknown, and I put up two of my own, for [30] "New Kid on the Block" and [63] "Jake's Fight". Of course, William "Bar None" Floyd's pathetic web page has been updated.

Wednesday, Nov 25 - I put up Michelle Owens' detail for [02] "Battle of the Sexes". Check it out. I'm also having a hell of a time getting the Episode Guide JavaScript links to work on all platforms. It seems that it not only depends on what browser you have (Netscape v. IE), but also what version! If the horseshoe link doesn't work, then try the title link, and vice versa. Oh, and William "Bar None" Floyd's web page has been updated.

Monday, Nov 23 - You might have noticed that I made some minor non-content changes during the week without noting them here. First off, Jason Williams sent in this great animated .gif of Mr. Ernst screaming. I just had to figure out how to use it, so I made a little horseshoe button. Go to the On-Site links page to see it in action. Then, added Kyle Taylor's synopsis for Episode 28 "Title Unknown". That's the one where Melody pretends to be Brad to impress a guest. Also, I rotated Jason's picture gallery, this time putting up [65] "War". Because of Thanksgiving and all, I'll leave it up until December 5-6. I'm also using different Javascripts code that works better on all browsers. BTW, I also wrote a very simple Javascript on the Episode Guide page to link to the details (via the horseshoe), to make the behind the scenes stuff work a more efficiently. Hopefully it works...

Monday, Nov 16 - It looks like Chris O'Connor's web site (the Kelly Brown pics) is down. I've never corresponded with Chris, but according to Kyle (who has), it looks "defunct". Well, maybe once we get the disk space for Jason's stuff lined up, we'll put those old Brad pics there too. What's Chris gonna do, sue me? I also thought I'd invest some money into this web site, so I actively went out of my way while in a Walgreen's and a Wal-Mart to look for a Bar None candy bar, so I could scan the wrapper. No luck. Does anybody know if this candy bar is still sold? I updated William "Bar None" Floyd's web page. Also, added a text bar at the top of the home page that scrolls this weeks episode. I hope I'm on the ball enough to keep it updated.

Saturday, Nov 14 - Added Kyle Taylor's Episode Detail for [28] Title Unknown, and Michelle Owen's Epsiode Detail for [01] "Day One on the Bar None". Thanks, guys!

Wednesday, Nov 11 - Big site news. I have posted a picture gallery featuring some of Jason Williams' video captures.

Michelle Owen has contributed info on another Bar None: the candy bar. Naturally, it's on the Other Bar Nones page. Mucho gracias, Michelle. She's also contributed Episode Details for [01] "Day One on the Bar None", [02] Battle of the Sexes, and [03] "Ted's Saddle". Michelle has claimed dibs on the Angie episode [38?] and the bald robbers episode [7] "Perfect Father", so don't anybody else start those! In addition, Kyle has submitted an synopsis for [28] Title Unknown (Melody pretends to be Brad).

Also put up a mugshot of the spitter, Hardy NICKerson.

Tuesday, Nov 10 - I got a scad of high-quality video captures from Jason Williams. I'm working on a way to make the whole archive available (might take a couple of weeks). Within the next day or so, I should have an on line sampling of his pics. Some of Jason's captures will also be added to some existing reviews, where applicable. Added an Episode Detail for "War" [65], which includes several of Jason's pictures.

Monday, Nov 9 - Added a poll to the front page. I'll leave it up for a couple weeks, maybe a couple of months depending on the traffic. I'm really curious to see how it comes out. Updated the Bar None Watch on William Floyd's page. Also, I'm almost done transcribing Kyle's sysnopsis for [29]. You don't want to know why I have to transcribe it! I'm almost ready to post my own Detail of "War" [65], maybe later tonight. I also added a professional quality photo of myself on the Character & Cast Page. This will hang there until I finally get around to properly writing up that section.

Tuesday, Nov 3 - Added Karen Andrew's review of [19] "Ghost Stories", though I did augment it a bit. Updated the Bar None Watch on William Floyd's page. Kyle has sent in another short story version of [29] "Title Unknown". That's the Brad/Ted date episode, and that's in the queue behind Karen's "Dan the Man".

Friday, Oct 30 - Added Kyle Taylor's incredible, super-thorough episode detail for one of our favorite episodes, "Ted and Brad Get Handcuffed." Kyle has written a virtual short story! I think we can all agree that this one deserves this sort of special attention and tender loving care. I also received a detail from Karen for "Dan the Man" [22], so that goes on the pending list. Also added some more Off Site Links.

Tuesday, Oct 27 - Added Karen Andrew's episode detail of "Our Little Champion" [16]. Her review for Episode [19], "Ghost Stories", is pending. A big thanks go out to Karen..

Monday, Oct 26, 1998 - Updated the Bar None Watch on William Floyd's page.

Sunday, Oct 25, 1998 - Added another one of Kyle Taylor's excellent plot synopses, this time Episode [08] "The Good, the Bad, the Obnoxious". I spruced it up with images swiped from C. O'Connor's Brad pic site. I hope "C" doesn't mind. I also received a great episode review from Karen Andrews: "Our Little Champion" [16]. But the best news is that she's working on details for the following eps as well - Cowboy Ernst, the one where Melody tries to impress the rich guy at the ranch by pretending to be like Brad, the one where Melody's best friend Amy comes to visit, Ghost Stories and Dan the Man. Big thanks to all for their work! And as soon as the Panther game is over, I'll update the Bar None Watch on William Floyd's page.

Friday, Oct 23, 1998 - Added more Off-Site links. Also, after determining that Homicide isn't worth watching anymore (now just another cop soap opera), had enough time to finally post up the two pending Episode Details. Thanks to Kyle for his work on [12]!

Wednesday, October 21, 1998 - Kyle has informed me that TVGrid.com has new titles for eps. [25] and [26], so they've been added to the Episode Guide. Current Episode Details for [12] and [27] are in the can and will be posted this weekend, so if you plan on submitting a synopsis or detail, don't do these...

Monday, October 19, 1998 - I found a TV compendium book at Borders that gave the premier date for Hey Dude: July 14, 1989. So that's its birthday. I posted it on the header of the Episode Guide. The book also verifies that 65 episodes were produced. I can't remember the title of the book, but the character description was pretty inaccurate. It described Ted somewhat correctly as the "handsome schemer," but Melody is his "romantic interest?" Brad is described as a self-absorbed "Princess" and Danny is the "earnest Latino".
